President’s Message
Reach for the Moon. If You Miss You Will Be Among the Stars!

Annick Young
President 1999-2000

In 1999-2000 every member of Seven Oaks Toastmasters reached for the moon - and went straight for the stars! Congratulations to all members who reached their goals or have taken steps toward accomplishing them.

Our Club is well on its way toward achieving the 10 goals Toastmasters International recommends for a club to be successful. The end of a Toastmaster year that took us from 1999 to 2000 is near. I can still feel the energy, the camaraderie and the fun at each meeting. My term as President is quickly drawing to a close. It has been a pleasure to serve such a great club and help the members as much as possible. The election of 2000-2001 Club Officers has brought us dedicated members to fill each executive position. Newly elected officers will discover many opportunities to learn leadership

V.P. Membership Message
Keep the Growth

Marie McCormick
V.P. Membership

We have experienced an inspiring number of new members in the 1999-2000 Seven Oaks Toastmaster year. Roslyn Pilgrim is pictured below with Annick Young during her induction ceremony on March 13, 2000. We are pleased to welcome all of our new members. You are the strength of our club.

Successful Clubs, like Seven Oaks Toastmasters have productive and enjoyable meetings where members present speeches from the Toastmasters Manuals. Members achieve their goals by moving forward through the Communication and Leadership Tracks. People are encouraged to join and the membership roster is kept above 20 members. Club leaders participate in Officer Training.

Congratulations to our new Officers for 2000-2001. You will find your positions rewarding as well as a valuable learning experience.
